The electric tractor model 712 differs from most of its competitors' products through its functional design and its technology aimed at safety. The 712 sets deliberately against an emotional element as a decision parameter for the product, functionality is its outstanding product feature.
Movement of heavy loads up to 6 tons requires a reliable braking performance. The well-controlled, hydraulic drum brakes act on all wheels; independent of that the emergency brake is pressed by hand, whereby the power supply is interrupted when the handbrake is applied. An automatic emergency brake* is available. The engine brake comes into force as soon as the driver takes his foot off the accelerator. Thereby, the motor generates current, which is fed back into the battery.
The EFZ 712 additionally meets high stability requirements that a three-wheeled vehicle can barely afford, especially in the case of a blocked train ride in this tonnage range.
Two different lengths of base models, special equipments* and variable types* allow our model 712 an optimum matching to the respective operation site. The type of vehicle is in use in hundreds of specimens.
The low-maintenance three-phase motor with a rated output of 6.0 kW is directly flanged to the differential gear and acts on the rear axle. This gives the vehicle its enormous efficiency.
The three-stage coupling with bolt safety (bolt diameter 25 mm) of the EFZ 712 is a solid in-house towing hitch, which can be replaced with a Rockinger-coupling* when needed.
The frame is welded using the most modern aspects. High stability and longevity are key elements of the construction. The powder coating also ensures high color quality and excellent corrosion protection.
By means of individual equipment variations*, for example, a weather protection roof*, lighting according to German road traffic regulations (STVZO) with LED technology*, different tyre options*, spray galvanizing versions*, etc. the most versatile customer requirements are also fulfilled.
The 712 impresses with a proverbial longevity and an indestructible technology in waste management, recycling companies, automobile industry, on railway stations, power plants and in steel mills.
